French and non-French things.

Hey! I actually made cookies last week!Shortbread thumbprints with cherry preserves. I don't particularly love shortbread but I do love things that are easy. And these cookies are.
Then I made some french bread and whole wheat no knead bread......for our Bastille Day celebration!

Bonjour delicious crepes that Melanie crafted!
And these ladies are quite obviously French.
I will warn you of this: Never put a beret on when your hair is still wet. When you eventually un-French yourself that evening your hair will look like something was living in it and had made a nice little nest of a home for itself.
